Seven awards, three builders, and our tiles in every one
We’ve been grinning since the 2026 HIA North Queensland Housing, Kitchen & Bathroom Awards. Three builders we work with took home seven awards between them, and our tiles are in each of those projects. A huge congratulations to John Munro Builder, Lifestyle Constructions NQ and Lewis Constructions NQ. We’re so proud of you, and are so grateful to be chosen to be part of these projects!!!
Here’s who won what, and the tile details we loved in each project.
Residential Design and three more: John Munro Builder
John Munro Builder had a huge night, winning Residential Design, Bathroom of the Year, Spec Home and Trade Excellence. Four awards!!!
Residential Design was the biggest award of the night. We supplied the stacked stone at the entrance and the floor tiles for the winning home, and its bathroom took out Bathroom of the Year – designed by Jason from Ostela. The same home also won Trade Excellence, and we supplied every tile in their award-winning spec home too.
Renovated Bathroom: Lifestyle Constructions NQ
Lifestyle Constructions NQ won Renovated Bathroom for a master ensuite, and we supplied the tiles and tapware. A beautiful marble main tile sets a soft, natural base (oh, that veining), with a feature tile adding interest and brushed gold tapware picking up the warmth of the Tasmanian oak cabinetry. The judges said it “sets a benchmark for contemporary luxury renovation”, and we agree!
Renovation / Addition and Unique and Difficult Sites: Lewis Constructions NQ
Lewis Constructions NQ won two awards. We supplied the kitchen and bathroom tiles for their Renovation / Addition Project, which turned an old Queenslander home into a bright, open family home designed by Ethos Interiors. They also won Unique and Difficult Sites for an incredible two-storey home on a steep block, designed by Maccallum Studio.
Come and see the tiles in person
Tiles never look quite the same in a photo as they do in your hand, under real light. If one of these projects has sparked an idea for your own build or renovation, come and see us in the Townsville showroom. We’ll pull out the samples, talk you through the finishes and help you work out what suits your space. Get in touch to book a time.
